Christopher Albert Langwell, 45, passed away on November 3, 2024. Born on March 28, 1979, in Salem, Oregon, Chris grew up in Albany, Oregon, where he attended West Albany High School. Following his high school years, Chris went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Oregon State University, combining his academic success with a deep-seated drive for innovation.
Chris built a career in perimeter security sales, excelling in his field with dedication and ambition. Throughout his career, he held roles as a Project Coordinator, Ecommerce Leader, Inside Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Commercial Sales Associate, and Account Development Associate. His growth in the industry was a testament to his hard work and passion for his profession.
A man of many passions, Chris was a lifelong outdoors enthusiast who loved fishing, motorcycling on and off-road, and rooting for his favorite football teams-the Chicago Bears and his beloved Oregon State Beavers. He once embarked on a memorable motorcycle journey down the West Coast through Baja, Mexico, a testament to his adventurous spirit. Chris also loved spending time with family, sharing his love of sports by coaching his nephew Zeke's football team for two seasons.
Chris was a devoted Christian, carrying his faith through all aspects of his life. He will be remembered for his kindness, adventurous spirit, and dedication to family and friends. Chris is survived by his loving mother, Betty Langwell, his brother Nathan Langwell and sister-in-law Whitney, and his nieces, Madeleine and Josephine Langwell, as well as his nephew Ezekiel Langwell. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Loren Langwell.
Christopher Albert Langwell's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His life of adventure, warmth, and dedication has left an enduring legacy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11 o'clock in the morning at Midlothian Funeral Home.
