It is with profound grief that we announce the unexpected death of Christopher Louis Lesch aged 51, in the early hours of Saturday April 13th, 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Chris was born on October 13, 1972, in Wheaton, Il where he spent his formative years. He graduated with a degree in anthropology and later became an Assistant Vice President and Senior Account Manager at US Bank. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
More than anything, Chris was a fiercely devoted father and husband. He loved spending time with his 7-year-old, inventing stories with him, creating elaborate cardboard forts, and going on numerous biking adventures. His cheeky wit regularly filled his home with laughter and levity. Chris's adoration and profound love for his wife, Gemma, was evident and felt daily. His optimism and zest for life nourished his family. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges faced his family.
Chris had an extensive, near encyclopedic knowledge of music which he thoroughly enjoyed sharing. This music could regularly be heard while he was finishing one of his numerous ongoing projects, whether it be maintaining his scuba diving gear or fixing a mid-century lamp. Chris was refueled by nature and found much joy in the sanctuary of a fishing pond and eagerly shared this with his son.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Gemma, and his child, Jacob, his mother Nancy, father Joseph and siblings Joseph, Peter and Mattew Lesch. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service to follow on Saturday 27th of April 2024 at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St, Naperville, IL 60540. Interment private.

Dear Heaven you have taken an angel by mistake. Surely I did not expect you to take this angel so early, he is my son Christopher. He has been the strength in my life, he has been my keel in a stormy sea, he cautions me when I go too far and tells me to drop back; he helps me to be a better person. Surely you made a mistake but I know you can’t return him, so please Bless him and take good care of my son. I love him so much! He will be missed by his son Jacob, wife Gemma and brothers Joseph, Peter and Matthew. Would you please find a good place for him to go fish, a good place to ride his bike, a good place to go dive and a safe place to run. Lord you have filled his heart with compassion and kindness and a loving heart for his wonderful son who he so loved.

Thank you Lord - Bless him, Keep him safe till we all meet again.
