Born on August 16, 1992, in Ft. Thomas, KY, he was the son of the late Michele Mackay. Chris brought warmth, kindness and laughter to everyone whose life he touched. Known for his generous spirit, quick wit and unwavering compassion, he had a way of making people feel valued and seen.
Chris had a deep love for music, movies and family; he was especially proud of his title "Uncle." His dedication and enthusiasm left a lasting mark on his friends, family and community. He will be remembered for his courage in facing life's challenges, his perseverance, the ability to find light even in difficult times and his endless love for those closest to him. All of which have been truly inspiring.
In addition to his mother, Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather: Robert Mackay.
Chris leaves behind his beloved wife of 6 years: Ashley Mackay; grandmother: Patricia Mackay; uncle: Matt Mackay; cousin: Collin (Lydia) Mackay and their son: Dorian: Ashley's grandparents: Dick and Connie Meyer; mother and father-in-law: David and Karen Davis; brothers-in-law: Travis (Laura) Shanks and Nathan (Amanda) Davis; sisters-in-law: Kelly (Andy) Hart and Emily (TJ) Brocker; nieces and nephews whom he adored: Damien Blades, Lexi Shanks, Eli Shanks, Jessica (Kyle) Hoskins, Kyle Hart, Jessica (Ty Cigolotti) Hart, Trent (Paige) Brocker, Parker Brocker, Brody Brocker, Abraham Davis and Isaiah Davis and his furry companions that provided comfort: Captain, Tilly, Sue, Sally, Eddy and Tommy.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday August 16, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. until the Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church Cold Spring, 4410 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076. In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested in Chris' name to the Collinsworth Cause Foundation (for spinal cord injuries), 8103 Rose Petal Drive, Florence, KY 41042.

Michele and Patty, I am shocked and so sorry to hear of Chris's passing. You have my heart. I'm sure he's in Ruth's and Bob's loving arms right now; I offer my deepest sympathy and condolences to you and the whole family.
