"Sending love from afar
In the Jewish tradition a challah bread is made for many religious related reasons. One reason is to place time energy and intention into prayer through the act of baking. Although we are Christian, we still hold Jewish traditions from Jon Michaels past. Each bread in a challah is prayed over. With one strand we prayed for your family to one day find peace. With another we prayed for Chris to find rest and relief with The Lord. And with the last we prayed solely for Merry, to find comfort in the days to come. Before we bake the bread we say one final prayer over the bread. And when we eat our challah, we do so with thoughts of spiritually breaking the bread with all of you. Please know how much we have thought and prayed for you all. You all, always, have a place in Cincinnati. With much love and deepest condolences, Amanda Rosenbaum(DiPaola and family.
