Daniel B. Fitzpatrick

Daniel Bryan Fitzpatrick passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, August 9, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was only 64 years old. The family, and his friends, are deeply saddened by this sudden loss. Daniel was born March 22,1961 in Providence, RI. He was the son of the late John Francis Fitzpatrick and Marion Frances (Grover) Fitzpatrick.

Dan dedicated his life to helping others. He was a Certified Alcohol and Drug counselor and a respected Clinical Supervisor. He worked among various treatment teams along the way, such as ARI and Journey. Dan was deeply committed to his career, dedicating himself to guiding individuals through the challenges of addiction and into the light of recovery. Through his compassionate approach and expertise, Dan empowered countless individuals to find strength, hope, and lasting healing.

Dan had a deep love for The Boston Red Sox and The Patriots, However, his greatest passion was the tranquility of nature and the shared Adventures he experienced with his closest friends.

Dans unwavering faith in God was matched only by his incredible zest for life and his infectious laughter. He taught us to embrace every day with a spirit of Gratitude. He will be forever loved and Missed

Daniel Fitzpatrick is survived by his sister Carol Fitzpatrick and her husband Brad, his brother John F. Fitzpatrick Jr and his wife Paula. He was the brother of the late Thomas Fitzpatrick. He was the uncle of Multiple nieces and nephews. Also survived by his Sweet beloved Cat Angus.

His visitation will be held on Friday August 22, 2025 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, followed by Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. The burial will be private.
