Christopher Lee Marmon

Christopher Lee Marmon passed away unexpectedly 3/11/23, at his Marietta residence. He was only 37 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Born November 7, 1985, in Decatur, Ga, Chris was the first-born child of Richard Marmon and Sandy Allen. Chris was a happy and healthy child, and a blessing to the young couple. Chris had a wonderful childhood with many fond memories and a loving family.
Although Chris was preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Richard Allen. Chris is also survived and missed by his loving wife, Holly Marmon, of 16 years; and his three children Isaiah (16), Hailey (14), and Christopher Jr. (13). Forever remembered and cherished by his siblings, Lisa Marmon, Anthony Dudley and spouse Megan Williams, Heather Allen and spouse Matt Marohl; and his nephews, Gage Marmon(13) and Tyson Marmon(11). Chris' memory will live on with his many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Everyone who knew Chris felt his big heart and giving nature.
Chris was a wonderful man who loved his family and friends deeply, but most of all his children. He was an avid gun collector. He wanted nothing more than to serve his country, and he did so briefly in the Army before receiving a medical discharge. Chris was a loving friend, who cared for many and will be remembered by even more.
