I will forever remember Chris for his contagious laugh and his kind and gentle spirit! May the Osburn's feel god's arms wrapped around them during this tragic time of loss...but may those precious memories give them comfort in the days to come!

So sorry for your loss. I knew Chris from WSHS marching Band. My son Matthew graduated with him and was in Marching Band also. My husband Jerry and I were very involved with the band program. I try to keep up with the band kids. Chris was very a very kind and gentle person. I loss Jerry in 97 and live in Ca. Heard about Chris on facebook. My prayers are with your family.

Coach Osburn, I am sorry to hear about your loss. I remember your husband always coming to our games and cheering us on. I remember all his thoughtful comments he gave me. He was a real good man and I am sure he is in Heaven resting in peace. My thoughts are with you Coach Osburn.

Dear Joyce and Frank,
When we heard that Chris had died we were shocked. We didn't want to believe what we were told. Since then many times during the day we have thought about what made Chris special. He was a good son and brother. I think you both knew that Chris was not an ordinary guy, although as parents you didn't want to brag, but when people complimented Chris for his accomplishments, you would walk a little taller.
During this difficult time, may God wrap you in his arms and give you peace.

My wife Ellen and I are deeply saddened by Chris's passing. He was a good friend of my son Chris, also a marching Virginian. I was glad to have had an opportunity to see him work in the professional world and was expecting great things from him at FAA. The Li family is keeping the Osburn family and Mary in its thoughts and prayers.
