CHRISTOPHER H REAVES, age 49, received his promotion to heaven on Sunday, September 15,2024 in his residence. He was born on August 26,1975 in Piqua, Oh to the late Theodore Holland and Cathy Reaves.
Chris was survived by six children: Jordan (Jamika) King, Piqua, OH; Aujha Steinke, Dayton, OH; Christian Mathes, Troy, Oh; Edawnya Steinke, Dayton, Oh; Kainen Reaves, Piqua, OH; Jocelyn Reaves, Piqua, OH; three sisters: Chelsea (Edward) Dawson, Toledo, OH; Thisha Holland, Dayton, OH, Tasha Holland, Yellow Springs, OH: two brothers: Garrison Franklin, Cincinnati, OH; Theodore Bradley, Springfield, OH; six grandchildren: Samiyah, Julianna, Jiavonna, Akira, Ariya, Jordan, Jr; three uncles: Gregg Reaves, Timothy Reaves and Albert Myers; special cousins: Autumn Reaves, Spencer Wells, Kimmi Jo; special friends: BJ, Amber and Mike. Preceded in death by grandmother Glenzetta Reaves, grandfather Hal Reaves and stepfather Gary Franklin.
Chris attended Piqua High School. He was a member of the Blessed Lifestyle Ministries Troy, OH. Chris was a very artistic person, had a passion for creativity and loved the Lord. He loved spending time with his family.
A celebration of Chris's life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Transformed Life Church, 421 Wood St, Piqua, OH 45356 with Pastor Eric Collier officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Transformed Life Church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, 646 W. High Street, Piqua, OH.
