Christopher Rodney Obituary

Visit the Forest Park Funeral Home and Cemeteries - Shreveport website to view the full obituary.
Christopher (Chris) Antonio Rodney was born March 18, 1985 in Shreveport, LA to the parentage of Walter Fields and Glenda Faye Rodney.
Chris was baptized at Greenwood Baptist Church at an early age and remained faithful to Christ until his death. One of his favorite things to comment was, "God's going to bless everybody."
On October 27, 2021, Chris was called home to be with the Lord. All who knew him will remember his smiling face, caring spirit, and his love for sports especially football. He was an avid Patriots fan! He loved laughing and hanging out with his brothers, relatives, and close friends, but most times you could catch him at home watching TV while getting beat in card games by his wife and daughter!
Chris is preceded in death by his daughter, Aniyah Lynn Rodney; paternal grandfather, Robert Fields; maternal grandparents, Clarence E Rodney and Lillie Mae Rodney; two aunts, Jossie Rodney and Catherine Coleman; and one uncle, Raymond Rodney.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Krishina Hayes; one daughter, Alaysha Rodney of Shreveport; his father, Walter Fields of Greenwood; his mother, Glenda Rodney of Bethany; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Fields of Shreveport; and four brothers all of Shreveport, Nicholas Rodney (Erika), Roosevelt Rodney (Shan), Lyndell Rodney (Deidra), and Don Rodney (Bianca).
