With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Chris Sprague of St. Augustine, Florida. Born on October 23, 1971, in the heart of Boston, Chris brought warmth and joy wherever he went. His sudden and unexpected passing on Saturday, April 27th, has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He was the beloved husband of Linda Sprague, his partner and confidante for 30 beautiful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Chris was a devoted father, whose love knew no bounds. He is survived by his daughters Dani Simon, Megan Santiago, Kaitlyn Sprague and his son Tyler Sprague. His pride and joy extended to his sons-in- law, Peter Simon and Kevin Santiago, and his daughter-in-law, Kasandra Sprague. Chris' unwavering love and support were evident in every aspect of his life, and his family was his greatest source of happiness. Chris' love also extended to his four beautiful grandchildren, Savannah, Riley, Kevin Jr., and Isla, who brought endless joy and laughter into his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, watching them grow and thrive, and his love for them knew no bounds.
Chris is also survived by his mother, Dolores Clayton and his siblings Roberta Giangrasso, William
Sprague, Donna Deleon, Richard Sprague, James Sprague, John Sprague, and Theresa Daddio.
Beyond his roles as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, Chris had a passion for sports, particularly for his beloved Boston teams-the Celtics, Bruins, Patriots, and Red Sox. Whether cheering from the sidelines, following every game with unwavering enthusiasm, or playing recreational softball or hockey, Chris' love for sports was infectious and brought joy to those around him.
In the midst of our grief, let us remember Chris for the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the
memories he created. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, dear Chris. You will be deeply missed, but your love and light will shine on in our
memories forever.
We are truly grateful for all your love, support, cards, texts and phone calls during this difficult time.
A celebration of Chris's life dinner will be held on Saturday, May 11th for immediate family.
