Christopher "Butch" Allen Young, 61, of Cumberland, died October 19, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born May 26, 1964 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Robert Bruce Young, Sr. and Emma Grace (McDaniel) Young.
Christopher was a 1982 graduate of Allegany High School. He went on to Allegany Community College, earning an Associate's Degree in Chemistry. He furthered his studies at West Virginia University.
He owned and operated Young's Unlimited in Cumberland.
Christopher was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church; East Gate Lodge #216, A.F. & A.M.; 32nd Degree KCCH, Cumberland Scottish Rite Bodies; and Ali Ghan Shrine. He was an avid bowler for over 30 years, having seven 300 games! He had served as President for both the West Virginia and Maryland Bowling Associations.
Survivors include his brother, Robert B. Young, Jr. and special friends, Chuck Tillman, Joe Mullenax, and J. M. Sites.
There will be a private interment at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
