Christy was born on December 7, 1959, to Grady and Maebell Cummings in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, in Shreveport.
Christy was raised in Shreveport and was the baby of seven children. She was an avid animal lover and fiercely loved both of her children, as well as her three grandchildren. She retired from the medical field as a respiratory therapist. She loved gardening, Elvis, Scotland, spoiling her grandchildren, and her faith in the Lord. A conspiracy theorist through and through, she loved all things paranormal, what may lie in the unknown, and everything involving American History. She was very proud of her ancestral roots and enjoyed researching her genealogy.
Christy is preceded in death by her parents, Grady Woodrow Cummings, Sr. and Mildred Maebell Cummings; brother, Grady Woodrow Cummings, Jr.; and sisters, Lynda Lawrence and Bonnie Cummings. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Holly Donaldson; son, Dustin Lincoln and wife, Stefanie; grandchildren, Hayden Donaldson, Haley Jo Lincoln and Charlie Q. Lincoln; brothers, Jim Cummings and wife, Francis; Bobby Cummings and wife, Pam; sister, Nelda Linahan; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
