Charles Michael "Chuck" Faish, 74, of Gibsonia, passed away in his home Thursday, September 11, 2025, with his wife, Leslie, by his side, and surrounded by family. The son of Charles Faish and Margaret Holupka, Chuck was born on August 20, 1951, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Blacklick Valley High School in 1969. Chuck married Leslie on February 25, 1977. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with an Undergraduate Degree in Criminology, going on to graduate from Carnegie Mellon University in 1997 with a Masters Degree of Public Management. Chuck was a proud veteran, having served his country in the Air Force. After his service, he began his career at Circle C, before ultimately transitioning to his role as a Senior Systems Engineer at UPMC, where he was integral at implementing their computer network systems. Chuck loved the game of golf and could always be found at the local course's putting greens mastering his putts and working on his swing. He was also an avid reader, with Science Fiction being his preferred genre. Chuck was ever the movie buff, enjoying nights out with Leslie seeing the latest blockbusters and seeing the books he loved to read play out on the big screen. He also enjoyed watching his Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as participating in his long-running fantasy football league with a group of close friends. Anyone that talked to Chuck walked away with a smile on their face and a good joke to tell others. But most importantly, Chuck adored spending time with his family, and could not stop bragging about the accomplishments of his beloved grandchildren. In addition to his wife Leslie, Chuck is survived by children Rachel Grimm, Josh (Jessica) Faish, and Sarah (Johnathan) Milford, sisters Barabra Ellen and Marjorie Jo, brother John Edward, 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Chuck is preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Ann and brothers James Peter and Steven Craig. Flowers, of which Chuck deeply enjoyed, can be purchased from Weischedel Florist and Greenhouse. Donations are also requested to Alcoholics Anonymous, of which played a formative role in Chuck's life. Family and friends will be received from 12:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday September 14, 2025, with a funeral service immediately following at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. www.schellhaasfh.com.
