Cindy Linmar Atherholt

Cindy Linmar Atherholt, born on January 6, 1968, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away at the age of 56 on December 4, 2024, in Leland, NC. Cindy lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
With a warm smile and a heart filled with kindness, Cindy delighted in working at many jobs where her creative and organizational spirit thrived. But mostly, Cindy cherished her community connections, especially through Life Point Community Church in Raleigh, NC.
Cindy was a true enthusiast of life. She was an avid runner. Her happiest moments were often spent at the beach with her family. Yet, above all, Cindy's greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her family was her world, and their happiness was her utmost priority.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Darryl Atherholt, with whom she shared 35 wonderful years. Her two children, Kendra and Johnathan Atherholt, both of Raleigh, NC, continue to carry forward her spirit and values. Her beloved parents, John Uerkvitz and Sharon Paris Uerkvitz of Coopersburg, PA, remember her as a shining light in their lives. Cindy's adoring grandchildren, Landon and Owen, will forever feel her guiding presence. Her sisters, Holly Palmer and husband Josh of Upper Eddy, PA, and Randy Curtis and husband Kenny of Hellertown, PA, will hold tight to the cherished memories they made together. Her nieces and nephews, Alexa, Noah, Cole, and River were always close to her heart. Cindy's special pets Balou and Lacy will miss her.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday December 17, 2024 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 South 41st Street, Wilmington, NC.
There will be time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Friends and family are encouraged to gather to honor the remarkable woman she was.
