SEIPEL, CLAIRE MARIE, 71, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 18, 2025. She was born September 11, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio. Her parents were William John Seipel, Jr. and Virginia Clare "Clement" Seipel. Clare spent much of her childhood in Columbus, where she attended St. Francis DeSales High School through the 11th grade. During her senior year, the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated from East Central High School.

Throughout her life, Clare held various jobs, earned a technical degree, and proudly achieved her Associate's degree from Butler Community College. Driven by her love of learning, she studied sign language with the goal of becoming an ASL interpreter. She was always reading and exploring new ways to grow and better herself.

Clare had a green thumb, enjoyed long walks at Blendon Woods, and could often be found relaxing on her patio. She loved sharing meals surrounded by family and cherished many fond memories of Sunday dinners with her cousins while growing up.

A car enthusiast, Clare had a remarkable ability to identify the make and model of cars simply by their silhouette.

She is survived by her children, Deanna Marie "Sams" Bonn, Jennifer Leigh "Sams" Sallee, and Terrence William Kelly; her brother, William "Bill" Seipel; and her grandchildren, Sierra Marie Bonn and Shaylee Diane Sallee. She was preceded in death by her father, William J. Seipel, Jr.; her mother, Virginia C. "Clement" Martenson; and her daughter, Laura Jayne Perryman.
