Clara Mae McCammon, born May 2, 1945, in Kennett, Missouri, went to be with her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ on February 20, 2026. Clara was a graduate of Kennett High School and worked many years as a travel agent. She loved to travel, spending time overseas in Germany as a military wife, as well as many places she visited with family and friends over the years. She was a loving wife, mother, meemaw and aunt. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and other family and friends brought joy to her life. She also loved to spend time outside in her gardens growing flowers and all kinds of fruits and vegetables.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Moore and Lucille Plunk, her twin brother Larry Moore, sister Mary Stewart, and brothers Glen Moore, Tim Plunk, and Jimmy Plunk. She is survived by her husband of a loving sixty-four-year marriage, Ray McCammon, and their children JoLynn Barnes (Mark) and Mark McCammon (Cathy). Clara is also survived by her sister Maxine Evans (Jack), and Dr. Otis Plunk (Kim), grandchildren Joey Barnes (Jasmine), Jeremey Barnes (Jordan), great-grandchildren Willow, Vance, Lennox, Landry, and Elijah, as well as several nieces and nephews.
