Clara Sitton Obituary
On December 28, 1963, Clara was united in marriage to the late Dave Sitton. After graduating Linn High School and starting a family, she held an administrative position at the A. B. Chance Company of Centralia, MO. She then moved to Tennessee in 1985 and became a meticulous homemaker that loved working in the yard and being outside.
Clara is survived by her two sons, Robert David Sitton (Angie) of Haslet, TX and Steven Russell Sitton of Bean Station, TN; sister, Alice Smith (the late Charlie) of Kirkwood, MO, brother Robert Jeagers (Rosie) of Linn, Mo, Sister-in-law, Esther Jeagers (the late Clarence) of Jefferson City, MO and sister-in-law Janice Poff (Lyndall) of Columbia, MO; grandchildren, Jessica Boyce, Morgan (Lexi) Kovach, Kaylie (Joe) Chavez, Hannah Long (Sitton), Zachary Sitton and Braden Kovach; and great grandchildren, John David Boyce, Cooper Boyce, Nathan Boyce, Alleigha Pressey, Kayson Pressey, "Joe-Joe" Chavez and Hadleigh Long. Along with her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, Clarence, Louis, Urban and Donald.
Memorial services will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11:00 am with Deacon Burdett Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Tebbetts, Missouri.
