Clarence Hightower

Clarence "Allen" (Ab) Hightower, 73, peacefully passed away at home with family April 27, 2023. Born November 20, 1949, to Noel and Mabel Hightower of Hadley, Kentucky, Allen was the sixth of ten children and graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War. Allen married the love of his life Fredia (Denson) Hightower in 1982 and was the loving father of Michael Denson (Mary) and Kelly (Denson) Wilcox. He cherished his grandchildren. As a kid, Allen was nicknamed "Ab" after the boy in the Li'l Abner comic strip. He loved his family, sports, and fishing. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ione Leigh DeNoon and brothers Charles, Jim, Gary, and Roger Hightower. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother Bill Hightower, sisters Faye (Dave) Linder, Debra Ford, and Donna (Delbert) West, as well as many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no service.
