Clarence Edward "Edd" Holt departed from his earthly body November 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Edd was born on May 18, 1940 to John and Sadie Holt.

Edd dedicated his life to the Lord and he surely heard the words, "well done, good and faithful servant, "upon entering the pearly gates. Edd had a servant heart, driven by compassion to help those who needed it most. Edd was a friend to all that knew him. He felt led to spread the gospel by crafting and handing out wooden hearts, butterflies, crosses, and figures of Jesus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and light of his world, Marie Holt; and his brothers, Harvey, Junior, and Kenneth Holt.

Left with precious memories are his sons, Alvin Holt (Anna), and John Holt (Stephanie); his grandchildren whom he treasured, Kyle Holt (Rachel), Kelsey Parman (Nick), and Griffin Holt; his great-grandchildren who bought so much joy to his life, Gatlin Thomas, and Eleanor April-Marie Holt; special loved ones, Juanita and Rudy Jones, Harold and Anna Jo Dowdy, Carol and Mike Kirk, Chuck and Melissa Sadler, Mike and Connie Wells, and his adopted family, Nicky Wilcoxson and the entire Wilcoxson family.

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM in his beloved Mountain View United Methodist Church with pastors Tim Smith, Ryan Rose, Charlie Henderson and Gary Poff recalling memories of his life and treasuring the hope that Edd has so faithfully reminded his friends and family to hold onto. Funeral Services will conclude in Mountain View Cemetery where he will be laid to restWhile flowers are appreciated, the family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Edd's honor to the Giles County Bible Bus or Mountain View Cemetery. A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Holt family.
