Born on June 30, 1951, in Gloversville, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Alta (Hoffman) Billington.
Claudia's life was a testament to the power of warmth and benevolence, and she will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted husband Alan Heroth, to whom she had been married since 1966. Her children, Sheryl Dieter, Tonia Smith (Richard), William Heroth (Michelle), and Troy Heroth (Meghan); brother, George Billington, and sister Janett Rizzo and Arnette Billington; grandchildren, Caila, Amanda, Austin, Kaiden, Owen, and Ella, along with great-grandchildren Kendyl, Jaecelyn, Zander, and Theo.
In addition to her parents, Claudia is predeceased by her brother, Clifford Billington and sister, Ruth Baker.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY 12095, with Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Interment will immediately follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
