Funeral services for Claudia Roberts Rashall Lucas, 105, will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Pettey and Rev. Cecil Marr.
Claudia was born on January 21, 1920 to Reverend Monroe and Mary Jane Roberts in Bellwood, Louisiana and passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in Shreveport. Claudia was a resident of Shreveport. She was a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church much of her adult life. She ran the church kitchen and all events along with teaching a Women’s Sunday School Class. She enjoyed quilting, canning, baking pies, and making special “Christmas Baskets From Claudia.” She also thoroughly loved her shenanigans with the Bellwood Chicks!
Claudia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fermon Rashall; husband, C.D. Lucas; daughter, Norma Corbin and husband, Jimmie D. Corbin; son, Norman Ray Rashall; seven brothers and four sisters. Left to cherish her memory is her grandson, Mike Corbin and wife, Richea; granddaughter, Nancy Brooks and husband, Michael; five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Claudia as pallbearers will be Michael Brooks, Chris Brooks, Justin Ginn, Austin Tharpe, John Luke Brooks, Jay Marshall, and Brian Marshall.
The family would like to express special thanks to Bristol Hospice, the staff at Booker T. Washington Nursing Home, and her special nurse, Scott.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
