Claudia Shiflett Obituary
Ms. Claudia Jane Shiflett, age 68, of Rome, Georgia, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Claudia was born on August 22, 1956 in Rome, GA and was the daughter of the late Mr. Claude Firestone and Edna "Jane" Firestone. From an early age, Claudia discovered a passion for the great outdoors and the companionship of animals, particularly cats, who brought her immense joy throughout her life. Claudia had a spirited nature, which was evident in her younger years as she enjoyed playing softball and bowling. She loved to travel and take trips and drink her coffee!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James "Bo" Firestone and her sister, Trish Gresham.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Shiflett and his wife, Tabitha Sanchez; sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Morgan; and grandchildren, Christa Shiflett, Harleigh Fowler, Mitchell Prather, Jessica Sanchez and Jasmine Sanchez; great grandchildren, Pressleigh Fowler, Zayden Shiflett and Ezra Sanchez.
In keeping with the families wishes, Ms. Shiflett will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
