Claudia Anniece Tucker, 74, of Madisonville, Texas passed away on October 23, 2025, in Madisonville, Texas. She was born on February 4, 1951, to J T and Ann (Collard) Jordy in Madisonville, Texas.
A proud graduate of Deer Park High School in 1969, Claudia continued her education at Sam Houston State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She devoted her life to nurturing young minds as a dedicated teacher in the field of education. Her passion for learning was matched only by her love for nature and the great outdoors, where she found joy in observing birds, cattle, and the beauty of wildlife. Whether she was spending time on the water or exploring the natural world, Claudia's enthusiasm for life was contagious.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Teresa Laurie Abshire; father-in-law and mother-in-law, EE "Bud" and Sarah Lurie Tucker. She is survived by her husband, Paul Tucker of Madisonville, Texas; daughter, Karen Gouge (Jason) of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren, Gabriel Moss (Tori) of Dayton, Texas and Zackary Moss of Pensacola, Florida; great-granddaughter, Maggie Mae Moss of Dayton, Texas; niece, Caitlyn Nelson (Jackson) of Spring, Texas; nephews, Justin Abshire (Katie) and Austin Abshire (Lindsay) both of The Woodlands, Texas; and numerous extended family.
A private family only graveside service for Claudia Tucker will be 10 A.M., Monday, October 27, 2025, in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Madisonville, Texas. Rev. Beau Bevers and Bro. Kerry Stroud will officiate the service. A time of visitation will take place Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
Pallbearers: Tommy Tucker, Jason Gouge, Gabriel Moss, Justin Abshire, Austin Abshire, Jackson Nelson
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Collard, Wayne Collard, Tom Goens
In lieu of flowers, the Tucker family kindly asks that donations be made to a Cancer Society of your choice.
