Clayton G. McGlone, 67, passed away at his Rosedale home on March 7th, following an extended illness.
Clay was born May 8th, 1956 in Urbana, Ohio, to the late William and Esther (Cookie) McGlone. He graduated from Fairbanks High School before attending college at Wright Technical College for commercial art, and retired from Ranco Manufacturing in Plain City. Clay had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed drawing wildlife scenes in pen and charcoal. He also enjoyed watching football - his favorite teams were the Rams and the Buckeyes, and he could tell you the stats on most any player.
Clay is survived by sisters Emma Jean Speight (Jenna and Bill) of Hope Mills, NC., Sharon McGlone of Marysville, brother Ron McGlone (Ron and Tina) of Irwin, and step daughter Stephanie Evans (Jason and Steph) of Springfield. He is also survived by his nephews Chad, Jeremy, Brandon, Brian, Brent, Ron Jr, and niece Shannon Rice.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Debbie J. (Roberts) McGlone, a stepson Greg Daniels, a brother Roger, and nephew Todd Seally.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Ingram Funeral Home is honored to serve Clay's family, and condolences may be expressed to them at www.IngramFuneralService.com.
