Clement A. Heitzman, 102, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at home. He was born on March 5, 1923, in Kingston, NY, son of the late Cornelius and Henrietta (Nock) Heitzman. He was married to the late Dolores (Leirey) Heitzman, they wed on October 7, 1950. Dolores passed away on October 6, 2014.
He was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1943. He later served in the US Army during World War II for 3 years as a mechanic, two of which he was stationed in India. He was a member of the China-Burma-India Veteran´s Association.
Clem was a Methods Specialist for IBM in Poughkeepsie and Kingston, where he was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. He worked for 35 years, retiring in July 1986. He was a parishioner of St. Peter's R.C. Church in Kingston for many years until it closed.
He is survived by his children, Barbara Sickler and her husband Robert of Stone Ridge, David Heitzman and his wife Kathleen of Kingston, and Stephen Heitzman and his wife Linda of Millsboro, DE, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Clem was predeceased by his children, Susan and Michael Heitzman.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Church, 467 Delaware Ave., Kingston, NY 12401. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Rural Cemetery, Mt. Tremper, NY.
