Cleo Marie McLean Obituary
New Iberia – Private services will be held at a later date for Cleo Marie McLean, 66, who passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025.
A longtime resident of New Iberia, Cleo was born on February 9, 1959, in Port Arthur, Texas, to the late Charles and Lucy Dore McLean. She was employed at Consolata Nursing Home for many years. Cleo loved butterflies, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Meyer; grandchildren, Kelley Hall (Trace), Skyla Darby, Arturo Darby (Lexie), and Alexander “Carlito” Hicks; sisters, Charlena McLean (Mark), Carlie Maturin (Mike), and Charlotte Wells; godchild, Charley Melancon (Coty); niece, Chassity Maturin (Taylor); several nieces and nephews; and a great grandchild due to arrive in October.
In addition to her parents, Cleo was preceded in death by a daughter, Monique “Niki” Meyer.
