Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jessica Kitchens of Brooklet, his son, Mark Kitchens of Bulloch County, son, Steven Cowart, his brother and sister-in-law, James David and Darlene Kitchens of Griffin; grandchildren; Gabriella and Logan Kitchens, Alyssa, Gabriel and Sean Kitchens, and Steven JR, Madison, and Alexis Cowart.
A graveside service will he held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2PM at the Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery on US-Hwy 80 in Statesboro.
