Clifford Byron Tyler, age 66, of Bonaire, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on August 10, 2025.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, Cliff was the son of the late Charles Tyler and the late Louise McKinley Tyler. He was a proud 1981 graduate of the University of Georgia, earning his degree in Journalism, and remained a lifelong Georgia Bulldog fan. His professional life was marked by a distinguished career in civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he served as the managing editor of Citizen Airman Magazine before retiring.

Cliff was a man of many passions. A devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves, he also found great joy in the outdoors - whether golfing, hunting, or fishing. He was deeply involved in his children's lives, enthusiastically coaching their sports teams and serving as an adult softball umpire, where his steady presence and love of the game made a lasting impact on many.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Diane Nelson Tyler of Bonaire, GA; his daughter, Kate Peacock (Justin) of Warner Robins, GA; his son, Chris Tyler (Hope) of Evans, GA; and four adored grandchildren: Barrett Tyler, Carter Tyler, Charlie Peacock, and Addelyn Peacock. He is also survived by his brothers, Greg Tyler (Cynthia) of Alabama and Gene Tyler (Ellen) of New York, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. A service celebrating Cliff's life will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Jon Brown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church in Cliff's memory.

With honor and respect, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
