Services to honor and celebrate the life of Clinton David Boone will be 11:00am Monday, February 14, 2022 at LifeChurch-Midtown Campus. A visitation is planned for Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1:00PM-6:00PM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. Clint passed away on February 6, 2022 at age 52 due to medical causes.
Clint was born on October 4, 1969 in Bartlesville to David and Anita Boone. He grew up in Bartlesville, graduating from Bartlesville High School in 1988. He attended Oklahoma State University for his undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism and completed post graduate work in meteorology at Metro State University in Denver and Mississippi State University. Achieving his childhood career dream, Clint worked as a meteorologist in Tulsa for many years at several stations, and recently started in a new role at KOTV Channel 6 in January 2022.
Clint loved his life and career. But at the center of his world were his children, family and grandkids. Clint is survived by his daughter Emily, son Hunter, brother Jon, sisters Melissa Boone and Kaye Baehr, parents David and Anita Boone, granddaughter Charlee and grandson Connor. Clint had many wonderful friends and colleagues, and will be missed for many extraordinary qualities - including his kind, engaged and calm demeanor that was reassuring to so many during severe storms or calm weather.
Clint was an avid tennis player, sports fan, runner and wicked good ping pong player. You only had to look at his orange and black wardrobe to understand his college allegiance. Those close to Clint know that he felt extreme fondness and gratitude for his supportive viewing community, friends, family and profession. He was a great friend to many and was loved by everyone who knew him. Clint's family wishes to share their deep, heartfelt thanks for the generous outpouring of sympathy, support and prayers - as we grieve the loss of such an amazing life.
