Clinton W. Kowalak

On August 17th our beloved Clinton passed unexpectedly on to eternal life with his Jesus. Although his life was cut short, our family was blessed to have walked with him on our earthly journey, and he shared with us every possible joy and purest love. He will be kept in our heart's memory for all of our days.

His life began on January 31, 1982, in the biggest snowstorm of that winter. He grew up playing sports which included baseball, basketball, and golf. He was a student at Pinconning High School class of 2000. He later was employed by the Arnold Center in Midland for 10 years. Anyone who knew Clint saw a kind gentleman with compassion for the poor and the sick, especially those with mental illness. He loved spending time with family, observing nature, and appreciated the comforts of home, including his love of music.

He is survived by his parents, William and Laurie (Meylan) Kowalak of Midland; big sister Amy Kowalak and her partner Scott Cramton, and their son Ansel Cramton, all of Empire; uncles James (Bonnie) Meylan, Edward (Mary) Meylan, John (Chantal) Porterfield, Steve Fillion, John (Debbie) Kowalak; aunts Jean (Dan) Cole, Annette Cavanaugh, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Anna Meylan, grandfather Arthur Meylan, uncles Larry Cavanaugh, and Wayne Meylan.

Funeral services for Clint will take place 11 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025, from the Apostolic Christian Church 2791 Fraser Rd., Kawkawlin. Clint's family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 & 5-7 p.m. at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street in Midland, and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Apostolic Christian Church of Kawkawlin or the donor's favorite charity.
