Clint Atoye Winston was a bright spirit with a magnanimous personality, an infectious laugh, and a charming smile. He made everyone around him feel so loved. On January 8, 1972, Lawrence and Luvada Winston were blessed to receive this gentle soul. Clint was the youngest child born into this ordained union. He was a boy of many interests including the study of insects and music. At his home church, St Mark COGIC, he joyfully played the drums.

As Clint grew into a young man, he found a love for fashion and style. As the baby of the family, he was loved and spoiled by all. Vera, his sister, called him "the RotRot of the seven siblings" and his sister Jedda holds memories of taking him from his baby crib and bringing him to her room just so she could love and spoil him even more. Clint loved his family just as much as they loved him, especially his beautiful mother. He adoringly called her his Storm because she "always rescued him at the brink of a minute before he went under."

Clint was educated in his adolescent years at Henrico High School in Richmond, Virginia. In 1991, he graciously became a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Virginia after attending the Richmond Technical Center. He especially loved working with senior citizens and was known to be a patient, kind, and loving Nurse. Later, Clint became part-owner of a successful small business, BalWin Courier Services. And, in 2023, he continued his ambitious trajectory and obtained HVAC certification.

Recently, Clint rededicated his life to Christ. He humbly adopted the name Minister C.A. Winston, "In Flight for Jesus Christ!". He had plans to be baptized this past week. Clint was like David of the Bible, truly after God's own heart.

His legacy, left to cherish his fondest memories are his daughter, Diamond Atoye Winston; Monica Birdsong Winston (former spouse); his parents, Lawrence W. Winston and Luvada Winston; siblings, William Thomas Collins (resting with the Lord), Bobby Jerome Collins, Keith Winston (resting with the Lord), Darren Robinson (Christine), Jedda JeanJoseph (Jean), Vera Roberts (Michael), Michelle Morris (Wilmor) and Louise Blackwell(James); sister-in-love, Beverly Lynch (Emile). He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, including, Bobby Collins Jr., Cameron Roberts, Darren Robinson Jr., Brent JeanJoseph, Asa Roberts, Danett Jean Joseph, Taylor Collins, and Je'nae Robinson; great nephew, Josiah Thompson and his most cherished friends, Shawn Bailey (brother), Vanea Preston, Gaylin Braxton, Irene Cosby, Renee Woolfork, Kizzy Hughes and Tina Robinson (resting with the Lord).

In closing, we share a passage of scripture from one of Clint's favorite books of the Bible - Ephesians 2:8-10. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
