Clyde Allen Cook Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Allen Cook, Sr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie, with Reverend Danny Merriweather officiating. Interment will follow in Addison Johnson Cemetery, Turkey Creek, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Cook, 75, of Crossett, Arkansas, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, LA.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. A diehard member of the racing world, he was known for building racecars, engines, and frames with unmatched passion and skill. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Edna Cook; and one stepson, Ronald Deville.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of seventeen years, Jackie Marie Cook of Crossett, Arkansas; one son, Clyde Allen Cook, Jr. (Pamela) of Monroe; one stepson, Randal Deville of Eunice; two stepdaughters, Ronda Ardoin of Dickerson, Texas, and Jolyn Aday (Jamie) of Tomball, Texas; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Keith Mancil, Josh Deville, Jamie Aday, Kelby Aday, Drew Smith, and Brodi Ardoin. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Williams and David Martin.
