Clyde is survived by his daughter, Anne P. Railey (Ricky) of Henderson; two granddaughters, Jessica R. Brame (Scott) and Lauren R. Sanford (Kevin); three great-grandsons, Jackson Brame, Andrew Brame, and Brycen Sanford; and his companion, Irene White.
Clyde loved to work, he would be known from working at the Beacon Drive In, the 7-11 Food Store, The Henderson Moose Lodge, and The General Store where he was also the short order cook. He also enjoyed attending Nascar races with friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Lancaster Memorial Park, 2210 Highway 561, Louisburg, NC 27549 with Rev. Randy Ayscue officiating.

Clyde was a very nice man with a whole lot of friends. I liked to call Clyde on his birthday every year and he would be waiting for Bobby to come take him out to eat. I met him way back in the 1960's......a good man.

The world has lost a true treasure and friend to all he met. Clyde's many years spent at Oak Hill will never be forgotten. He was a friend and an amazing neighbor to all there. His memory will live on for many years to come. I will always look at across the parking lot at his patio and see him and his friends gathering for their early morning coffee. Sending love and prayers to his family and so many friends he leaves behind.
