Mr. Cody Ryan Andrew, age 37, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on June 17, 1985 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Deana Smith Andrew and the late Randall "Randy" T. Andrew, Jr. He resided all of his life in Jefferson County and was a 2003 graduate of Southwestern High School, where he excelled in baseball and basketball. Cody also enjoyed playing tennis and running track. He graduated in 2007 from Marian University where he majored in sports medicine and minored in business. He also played baseball in college and played semi pro in the summers with the Cheyenne Grizzlies in Cheyenne Montana. On September 18, 2010 Cody was united in marriage to Andrea Manning in Madison, Indiana. This union of five years was blessed with a daughter, Avery and sons, Cole and Brant. Cody had worked with High Def Machining in Madison and was previously employed with Fastenal, Madison Fastners, Burris Electric, VISCO, and had enjoyed helping Jeremy Bickers with laying flooring and building decks. He was baptized and a member of the Hanover Baptist Church. Cody was an avid fisherman, enjoyed sports, coaching, mushroom hunting, had a very competitive spirit, wrote poetry, enjoyed sketching, and loved being with his family and his friends. Cody's blue eyes and award winning smile blessed everyone he met. Cody died on Friday, August 26, 2022, at his home in Madison, Indiana. Smith, Sr. and his wife, Margie of Georgetown, Kentucky; his step grandpa, Claude R. Reece, Sr. of Madison, Indiana; his aunts and his uncles, Regina and Jerry Harmon of Milton, Kentucky, Marcia and Ronnie Morgan of Madison, Indiana, Donna L. "Charlie" and Terry Taylor of Madison, Indiana, Dale L. Jr. and Cindy Smith of Gadsden, Alabama, Claude R. Jr. and Kris of Hanover, Indiana, Edith Marie and Larry Kinnaman of Madison, Indiana; several cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Randall "Randy" T. Andrew, Jr., died December 22, 2010, his maternal grandmother, Donna L. Lichlyter Reece, died October 9, 2014, his paternal grandparents, Randall T., Sr., died 1982 and Bonita Roseberry Andrew, died 1974, and his step brother, Ryan Patrick Moreland, died July 21, 2011. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., by Pastor J.D. Traylor at the Hanover Baptist Church, 151 West Main Street in Hanover, Indiana. Interment will be at a later date in the Hebron Cemetery near Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the Hanover Baptist Church, 151 West Main Street in Hanover, Indiana.
