Cody D. Fletcher, age 27, passed away far too soon on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Brown County.
Cody was born on June 24, 1997, in Columbus, Indiana. He was a 2016 graduate of Brown County High School. A hardworking and dedicated man, Cody was a proud member of the Laborers' International Union of North America Local 1112. He worked as a pipelayer for Gradex Inc. in Indianapolis and previously held the same position with Poindexter Excavating.
Cody enjoyed the outdoors-riding his motorcycle, ATV, or dirt bike which brought him peace and excitement. He also enjoyed racing RC cars and fishing, especially when spending time with his niece, Lydia. Those who knew Cody will remember him as a quiet, humble, and simple man who loved his family deeply.
He is survived by his son, Leihum Fletcher; his parents, Jay and Teresa (Crippen) Fletcher of Brown County; his brother, Hunter (Cayla) Fletcher of Martinsville; cousin, Shane Crippen of Anderson; and his nieces, Lydia and Laney.
In keeping with Cody's wishes, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
Memorial contributions may be made in Cody's memory to the Morgan County Humane Society, 690 W. Mitchell Avenue, Martinsville, IN 46151.
