West Irondequoit: Peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the age of 75. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Daisy Sherman; sisters, Linda Marinucci, Patricia Bailey. She is survived by loving husband of 48 years, Lawrence; children, Regina (John) DeCarr, Jeffrey Klimek, and Lawrence (Jennifer) Klimek II; grandchildren, Shannon DeCarr, Jeffrey, Justin, and Hailey Klimek; sisters, Judith Barillo, Barbara Smith, Mary Amphlett and Cecilia (David) Jackson; brother, Timothy (Marlene) Sherman; sister-in-law, Suzanne Fell; many nieces and nephews.

Colleen was an avid bowler who found great joy in the sport throughout her life. She generously gave her time as a Den Mother and as a Sunday School teacher at St. Margaret Mary Church, sharing her faith and kindness with young children. Her love for children extended into her work as a devoted day care provider and nanny. Most recently, Colleen was a valued member of the West Irondequoit School District, where she worked in food service, always greeting students and staff with a warm smile and caring heart.

A special thank you to the staff in ICU and Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for their loving care given to Colleen and her family.

Her family will receive friends Monday, August 25, 2025, 4-7pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 10:00 am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church for her Funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Golisano Children's Hospital, Office Of Advancement, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box278996, Rochester, NY 14627 or to your local animal shelter.
