Colleen Mary McShane aged 67, of Burnsville, MN passed away peacefully in her home on June 8th, 2022 surrounded by those closest to her.
Colleen was born in March 1955 and grew up surrounded by her many siblings on the family farm in Waseca, MN. After high school, she moved to the Mankato area before moving to the Twin Cities to raise her own family. Excellent at details and numbers, she spent her career in payroll, at St Olaf College and most recently Holiday before retiring. Colleen was a fun loving woman - she met her partner Bruce country line dancing at Rodeo, and together they shared 22 years of great adventures, both together and with their close knit group of friends. She loved to travel, most notably to Hawaii, where she loved to watch the whales. She was kind and caring and deeply loved her kids and grandkids.
Colleen is survived by partner and best friend of 22 years, Bruce Brown of Onamia, MN, and her children, Aaron (Michelle) Harris, Kelley (Jeffrey) Morse, Adam (Anita) Brown and Chad Brown. She is also survived by her siblings and spouses, countless nieces, nephews, and many close friends, all who will miss her big heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leona & Joseph McShane, and siblings Geri Murtaugh, Bobby & Lori McShane.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, June 14th at 2:00pm with visitation our hour prior, all at:

Thanks for all of the fun times at Rodeo and oh what a fun time in Mexico. Your smile and gentle spirit will be missed, but the memories are forever. Thank you my friend. RIP Colleen
