Colleen Meyers passed away peacefully in her sleep with her husband Jeff by her side on October 01, 2023 at the age of 54 at her home in Tomball, Texas from her ongoing battle with cancer. Colleen was a loving daughter, spouse, mother and sister.
Colleen Cheryl McFall was born July 15, 1969, in Champaign, Illinois to Christine Chambers who passed peacefully on April 05, 2023 and Daniel Lee McFall. She was the oldest of three children.
Colleen was married 29 years to Jeffery Meyers, son Jacob Meyers, daughter Kayden Meyers, step-father Alan Chambers, Albert Meyers, step-mother Anne McFall, Deb Meyers, brother Jason McFall, sister in law Linda McFall, Melanie Meyers, niece Kierstyn McFall, nephew Landon McFall, niece Christine McFall. Other surviving family members include: aunt Linda and Brian Irwin, aunt Sherry and Richard Cibelli, uncle Tim McFall, Ernie McNab, cousins Foster McNab, Colin McNab.
Proceeded in death, younger brother Patrick Mcfall, mother-in-law Judith Ridenour, aunt Carol McNab.
Colleen graduated from Alief Elsik High School and continued her education at TSU & HCC, during this time Colleen was a waitress and bartender at TGI Fridays, then waitressing for various high end restaurants. Colleen then decided to go to University of Houston travel trade school where she finished top of her class. Upon graduation she worked for various leisure travel agencies and as a corporate travel agent as well. One of her highlights was doing travel for the Rockets in the early 90's meeting Hakeem Olajuwon, Robert Horry, and Sam Cassell. Colleen won multiple awards for excellence in customer service.
Colleen loved putting together big international travel itineraries and then hearing all about the great travel experiences from her clients. Colleen loved to travel with family & friends, especially to the beach and on cruises and always had a couple trips planned for every year. Colleen's other hobbies included playing board games, cards, and cooking. She loved to watch the Astro's games with her husband and was always cheering them on. She always had a beautiful vivacious smile and laugh, gorgeous eyes, and her nails were always the bomb.
A celebration of life for Colleen will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Association for Cancer Research at www.aacr.org. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cashnerconroe.com for the Meyers family.
