Funeral mass for Colleen (nee Antonucci) Rossetti, 70, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate.
Colleen passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Concord Twp, OH, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 28, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, she lived in Mentor for 48 years.
Colleen was a devout Catholic who was a very active member at her church, St. John Vianney in Mentor, volunteering at the Fish Fry, teaching PSR and working at the summer festivals. Her Catholic faith was very important and personal to her. Colleen loved going to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in Euclid often and was always lighting a candle to pray for others. She had a selfless soul and spirit.
She worked for 40 years in various patient registration roles for Lake Health, starting at Lake West in 1983. Colleen loved working with patients and always had a calm demeanor that made people feel at ease.
Colleen adored her family and grandchildren and was a wonderful Nonni. She loved watching their ballgames, attending school functions and just spending time with them. Colleen was truly a mother to so many more than just her children and grandchildren. Her family feels very blessed to have had Colleen as a mother and Nonni.
She will be remembered as a beautiful woman, inside and out, who was a great role model with a sweet soul. Colleen had such an infectious laugh. She was a warm, loving light, so positive and always smiling.
Colleen was the beloved wife of Joseph Rossetti; cherished mother of Damon (Anita) Rossetti; Tara (Anthony) Carcioppolo, and Melissa (Mike) Sedlak; loving Nonni of Michael, Isabella, Noah, Victoria, Nicholas, Adrianna, Alexander, Jaden and Gino; and loving sister of Darlene (nee Antonucci) Ignelzi and Ralph Antonucci.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph A. and Ilo V. (nee Dailey) Antonucci.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 31, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, north of Rt. 2) Mentor. Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
