Colton Gray Miller passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 30 in Rexburg, Idaho.
He was born on August 12, 1994 in Rexburg to Amber and Kevin Miller. He was raised by Amber and Alex Martin in Sugar City where he attended school. He got his GED in 2012.
When Cole was young he had so much energy. When he got signed up for baseball, the first day the coach put him in outfield. He sat down and was bored. I spoke to the coach and told him if he wanted to keep Cole's attention he needed to put him where all the action was. He loved playing baseball after that. He also played some football.
He also enjoyed golfing, riding dirtbikes, playing poker, fishing, and boating. He played on a pool league and loved playing pool. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
Cole's energy was bounding, you couldn't help but catch some of that energy when you were around him. He loved to make people smile. He gave the best big hugs.
Over his life he has worked in cabinets with his dad, and countertops. He installed shower doors and glass. He then found a passion in construction. He worked for Jerome Bowen Construction for the last 8 years where he worked his way up to being a foreman over his own crew. He loved working with the heavy equipment.
When Cole was 20 he met the love of his life, Sierra and her two kids Brylie and Kache in which he took on as his own. 3 years later they had their beautiful Paisley who shares the same middle name as her dad, Gray. Paisley was everything to Cole. She was his little sidekick. He took her everywhere with him and taught her to love so many fun things at a very young age. From golfing, camping, fishing, going on rides on the desert and scouting for animals. He was the best dad.
Cole is survived by his significant other Sierra Larsen of Rexburg, Daughter Paisley Miller, step daughter Brylie and step son Kache. Mother Amber (Mike) Evans of Idaho Falls. Father Alex (Liz) Martin of Island Park, Grandmother Jackie Lantz of Idaho Falls, Siblings: Nathan (Mercedes) Miller of Rigby, Corde (Dani) Miller of Kingsport TN, Broc Martin of Rexburg, Brogun Martin of St George, UT, many nieces and nephews. Cole had a huge blended family with many half and step siblings which he claimed all as his own and was very close to them all. Scotty (Abigail) Miller, Kristen (Austin) Berry, Barry (Amanda) Scott, Lane (Don) Allen, Andrew (Kristina) Evans, Jake (Michael) Evans, Derek (Rhylea) Evans.
He was preceded in death by his biological father Kevin Miller, Grandparents Gary and Carolyn Miller, Grandfather Bruce Lantz, Grandmother Sharon Martin, step brother Ryan Evans, and a brother in law Tanner Chatfield.
