Connie Lewallen Allen, age 76, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Garland and Jean Lewallen. She was of the Baptist faith. She cherished spending time with her family, engaging in shopping excursions, and exploring new places through her travels.
Connie is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William "Bill" Allen; her son, Shane Allen; and her brother, David Lewallen.
She is survived by her cherished grandson, Chance Allen; her brother, Don (Karen) Lewallen; her sister-in-law, Pam Lewallen; her brother-in-law, David (Lavada) Allen; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family who will carry on her memory.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the Beta Cemetery with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Charles, Ryan Aikman, CJ Oliver, Thomas Creasman, Alex Pressley, and Jimmy McLean.
There will be no formal visitation held per Connie's request.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of TerraBella Athens and Hospice of Chattanooga for their exceptional care of Connie.
