Connie B. Bright, 79, of Anderson, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 19, 2025. Connie was born on April 2, 1946, in Anderson to the late Harry Burris and Mary Catherine (Sandefur) Sanders. She married the love of her life, James D. Bright, and the two were married for 30 years until his passing in 1995. After graduating from Madison Heights High School, Connie later went on to receive her associates degree in nursing as an LPN. She worked at Community Hospital for over 30 years, and then went on to work at Monticello House and Primrose.
Connie was a member at Bethel Community Church for her entire life. She enjoyed riding her bike, class lunches, her cats, Kensie and Brooklyn, and traveling on many vacations with her sister. Most importantly, she loved her family and spending time with them.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jeffrey (Wanita Wise) Bright of Lafayette and Dennis Bright of Anderson; grandchildren, Dalton Bright, Lillian Bright, and Logan Shuler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry; mother and step-father, Catherine and Charlie; her husband; sister, Janet Hooten; and brother, Eddie Burris.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bethel Community Church, 4011 West 200 South, Anderson, Indiana 46011. The funeral ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Connie's name may be gifted to Bethel Community Church, 4011 West 200 South, Anderson, Indiana 46011.
Connie's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46011.
