Connie was the loving mother of 5 children and 9 grandchildren. She loved flowers and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 5 kids, 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Tommy Thomas. Connie is survived by her children, Marcus Voyles, Sarah Thomas, Tammy Goble (John) and Melissa Voyles; sister, Cynthia Corn (Robert); nephew, Michael Long (Melanie); niece, Amy Peacock (Joe); great niece, Shannon Peacock; great nephew, Edward Kirby; 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; special friend, Lee Elrod; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Russ Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at New Bethel Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 10th from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 11th from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
