Connie E. Dills, 71, of Goshen died unexpectedly Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Elkhart General Hospital after a short illness.

She was born March 18, 1954 in Goshen to George O. and Bettye P. (Smith) Marner.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Rick Dills; four children, Jack Cooper, Shawn (Kaitlyn) Dills, Steve (Theresa) Dills and Corey Dills; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Other survivors include a sister, Cynthia Blackburn, and two brothers, Larry (Connie) Marner and Jeffrey Marner.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Garry Marner.

Connie was a hardworking, loving wife, mother and special grandmother. She enjoyed playing Yatzee and other games with family. She was an excellent baker and cook, who always had goodies around when watching NASCAR or her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

There will be a time for visitation Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

A private graveside will take place at West Goshen Cemetery.
