Connie Nelson Haddock, 61, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 AM in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

Connie lived most of her life in Pitt County and was a graduate of North Pitt High School. She enjoyed trips to the beach, boat rides, and camping. Her dogs, Grayson and Gracie brought great joy to her life, but her greatest love was her children and her grandchildren.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Jones Mills; and brother, Jimmy Nelson.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Potter (Laura Manning); daughter, Jami Cavenaugh; grandchildren, Kadon and Grason Potter, and Presley Cavenaugh; father, Kenneth Nelson; and brother, Randell Nelson.
