Connie Waller, born on May 13, 1949, in Vineland, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late George Leonard Nipper and Edith (Tedder) Nipper.
A proud graduate of Valley High School, Class of 1967, Connie began her professional career at a young age as a beautician. She later devoted approximately 13 years to Belgrade State Bank as a teller, followed by a fulfilling role as secretary to the superintendent for Valley School District, from which she eventually retired.
Connie's life was marked by her deep commitment to family and faith. She was a member of Belgrade Methodist Church and held a strong belief in the importance of knowing Jesus as one’s personal Savior, making this her main priority for her family. She shared her life lovingly with her husband, Garrie, whom she married on a stormy day, July 8, 1995, at Belgrade Methodist Church. Together they cherished camping trips with friends and family gatherings filled with warmth.
Connie is survived by her devoted husband, Garrie Waller; her four children - Nicole Smith (Scott), Ronda Hutchings (Matt), Angie Fadness (Doug), and Matt Waller (Kerrie) - Connie's enthusiasm never faltered as she attended sporting events, dance recitals and many other events, always cheering on her twelve grandchildren whom she loved: Chelsea Forbes (Ryan), Justin Dennis (Emily), Callee Walker, Kohen Waller (Abby), Grant Hutchings, Dalton Waller (Taylor), Conner Payne (Makensie), Aliyah Waller, Bradley Dennis, Hannah Fadness, Hallee Hutchings, and Lily Fadness. Connie also took delight in her nine great-grandchildren: Lainey, Maddux, Rowan, Maelynn, Anna, Parker, Payson, Camree, and James; Connie also leaves behind her siblings, Marcia Bowles (Kevin) and Cheryl Nipper, along with her sister-in-law Judy Nipper; as well as her nieces, nephews, and special lifelong friends Ruthann Yount and Charlotte Shepperd.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Edith Nipper, and her two brothers, Eddie and Hurshel Nipper. Connie Waller’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
Beyond her family and career, Connie enjoyed reading mystery and romance novels and solving crossword puzzles, which brought her joy and relaxation.
