Constance Tocci, former resident of Carmel and Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 at the young age of 101. She was born on October 23, 1923 in Yonkers, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (neé Cerrato) Greco.
Connie was the beloved wife of the late Edward B. Tocci, married for over 69 years before his passing in 2015. Together they ran the locally famous Seymour Radiator Shop in Yonkers. Connie was a strong woman, always fun to be around, had a big personality, enjoyed a little bling and sparkle, never sweat the small stuff, and wasn't afraid to speak the truth in any situation.
She enjoyed traveling, pressing her luck at the slot machines, playing cards, and driving nothing but her beloved Cadillacs. Family dinners were especially important, bringing everyone together with her marvelous Italian cooking, but more so for the stories and laughter they shared.
Connie is survived by her granddaughter Amy Colatruglio and her husband Joe, grandchildren Emily, Joe Jr., and Samantha, daughter-in-law Maria Tocci, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, her son Edward, her grandson Edward and her siblings Ciro and Joseph Greco and Catherine LaMagna.
All are welcome to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 15th at 10AM at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac, NY. A private cremation was held prior to services.
