Constance "Connie" Sue Wilkins, age 73 of Celina, currently resided in Westerville to be closer to her daughter Jen, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Danbury at Parkside Westerville Assisted Living. She was born March 3, 1952 to the late Lester Eugene and Gloria (Gray) Hawkins in Cleveland. On June 26, 1993, she married Ronald Wilkins Jr., who passed away on May 10, 2024. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Rowland of Columbus and sister Sherry Cramer of Cleveland.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Sandra Barbarine.
Connie graduated from Midpark High School with the class of 1970. She then earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. She was an Associate Professor of Nursing at Lima Tech College until she retired.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, a Fourth Degree Ladies Auxiliary, National Honor Society, Kappa Phi, and the American Nursing Associating. She volunteers at Meals on Wheels in Florida and volunteered at the Miller House Assisted Living in Celina.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery, with Deacon Charlie Salaway officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital City Hospice 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. #170 Columbus, OH 43231 or Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund 229 W. Anthony St. Celina, OH 45822.
