Mr. James Conway Dudte, age 78, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in Ocean Springs.
Conway was born on September 18, 1946, in Londonville, Ohio, to James and Nadine Dudte. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Physics from the Ohio State University, his Masters Degree of Business Education from Southern Illinois University and Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. James was a Retired Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. He was a great golfer, great cook and loved his Ohio State University football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nadine Dudte. Survivors include his spouse, Wendy Dudte, children, Ben (Angela) Dudte, Josh (Maya) Dudte, grandchildren, Lea Dudte and Meredith Dudte and siblings, Cindy( Dudte) and David Hollinger, Jerry and Judy Dudte and Jayne (Dudte) and Kevin Simms.
The family would like to give special thanks to his caretaker, Amber. They would also like to thank Ocean Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care.
A private family service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
