He was a Freshman at St. Clair County High School, and a member of JROTC color guard. With a grin of mischief, Corbin lived his life to the fullest. He was a member of The Healing Place Church in Trussville, Alabama. Corbin loved God. He loved spending time with his cousins, fishing, and camping, being on the water, riding 4 wheelers, dirt bikes and being outdoors. He was a handsome charmer, always acting goofy and making people laugh. His bright smile and beautiful blue eyes lit up any room that he stepped into. Corbin was loyal friend and adored his family. He aspired to be in the military and to be a welder.
He is proceeded in death by his grandfather Emory Jackson (pawpaw).
Corbin is survived by his father and stepmother, Dwight "DJ" & Sunny of Odenville, AL. mother, Kirsten Jackson, of Ashville, AL. sisters, Aubrey Thornton of Ashville, AL and Nevaeh Grace Goolsby of Odenville, AL. Grandparents Mark and Alice Thornton, of Winston, GA and Susan Johnson of Demopolis, AL.
A celebration of life is being planned in his honor.

At Duran Junior high, They do JROTC and I was actually wanting to do that next year and I most likely will. but it is gonna remind me a lot of sweet Corbin. You are missed so much. Fly high sweet boy.

Oh, there's a lot of stories about Corbin he is just such a generous, kind, loving, caring, funny, and giving person he is like someone you could trust to keep promises. He meant everything to me and he still does mean everything to me. But a story was when I first met him... umm he was my first crush his smile lit up and his blue eyes filled the room, his eyes were like the ocean and crazy thing I love seeing the ocean. So, whenever I go to a beach now all I'm going to think of is him and how sweet and beautiful his soul was. But I will miss you Corbin so much I really hope he took you home early for a good reason you were a very nice friend to have around and you made the funniest jokes too. We will miss you so much I can't wait to get to heaven- I might sound cliche, but I would run to you first and give you the biggest hug. May you rest in peace Corbin.

My favorite memory I have with Corbin was when we both went to a school dance last year. We´d met on color guard for JROTC a few months prior and had become friends. We sat with each other and laughed and joked for hours. When the dance was getting wrapped up, we both decided we wanted to dance before we left, however neither of our dates wanted to dance so we decided to dance together. We looked like idiots but it was so funny and ended up being the highlight of our night. There´s no way I could remember him any better than thinking of a time he made me happy. Rest in peace Corbin. I´ll remember you any time I dance.

Everyday time he would always call me strawberry shortcake bc of my pink hair, during 3rd period he would always ask me how my day was and if I was okay. Corbin always found away to make me smile with his funny jokes or comments and I will always remember his continuous smile there was never a day where he was not smiling, we would always play trash-kit ball in Roger´s class one day Corbin decided to be our class clown and let the speaker use him as a reference and he thought it was the coolest thing he always found a way to make things fun. Corbin always showed me too see the light in the brighter days
